AEPOS is a leading supplier of Information Technology Security (ITS) services to the federal government and private sector.
In support of the Federal Government of Canada, the AEPOS Team of ITS specialists have completed hundreds of projects under the terms of the earlier ITS Evaluation and Risk Assessment (IERA) Supply Arrangement (SA), and the current Information Technology Infrastructure Security and Protection Services (ITISPS) SA.
These projects have, established AEPOS as a reliable and competent partner to the Government of Canada. Our track record of meeting client's needs, on time and within the budget, is a testimony to the experienced team of high caliber technical specialists in AEPOS.
Our supply arrangements
In late 1992, the Government of Canada (GoC) released the first of many requests for proposal (RFPs) for Information Technology Security (ITS) services to federal departments.
This initial RFP led to the establishment of the first Information Technology Security (ITS) Evaluation and Risk Assessment (IERA) National Master Supply Arrangement (NMSA). This supply arrangement was followed by two more IERA Supply Arrangements in 1995 and 1998 which were used to requisition hundreds of IT Security tasks for the GoC.
These supply arrangements have helped establish a strong IT security industry in Canada. AEPOS has been awarded a position in every NMSA in this area.
In order to support the GoC in the area of Information Protection, the CSE implemented the Critical Information Infrastructure Protection NMSA in 1999.
As the 1998 IERA and 1999 CIIP NMSAs drew to an end, these two contracting vehicles were amalgamated, and a single Information Technology Infrastructure Security and Protection Services (ITISPS) NMSA was issued and awarded this year.

AEPOS Technologies is one of only four suppliers approved to work on ITISPS National Master Supply Arrangement work, and was the first company to be awarded positions in all three tiers!
The Government of Canada (GoC) recognizes the need for IT security skills within federal government departments and agencies, as well as the need to foster this capability within Canadian industry, in order to develop the necessary skills from which it can draw.
The ITISPS NMSA is composed of three tiers of services in which companies may be awarded positions, and through which GoC Departments and Agencies may procure services. The tiers are the following:
- Risk Management, Product Evaluation, and ITS System Design and Implementation Services
- Information Infrastructure Protection Services
- ITS Research and Development
