Support to National Delegations at ICAO
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) are organisations that shape the air transportation industry by developing standards, recommended practices and procedures covering the technical fields of aviation. As aviation technology continues to develop rapidly, the standards, recommended practices and procedures are kept under constant review and amended as necessary. This activity may have a profound impact on the operations of Civil Aviation for the Member States, which may result in financial complications. It is therefore important that the position of ICAO Member States in relation to new developments be fully understood, based on: strong technical advice, the knowledge of the position of different Member States and on the knowledge of the organization itself.
In recognition of this requirement, APS Aviation Inc. is offering independent professional assessment of key issues arising through ICAO, IATA, or other relevant technical sources that might impact ICAO Member States. These States may also have interests in other civil aviation matters that involve relations with North American governments, notably Canada. APS also has intimate knowledge of Transport Canada and other government agencies and is currently involved in several aviation-related projects with the government. APS can provide direct assistance to ICAO Member States in its dealings with Transport Canada, NAVCANADA and other government agencies, or associated organizations. In addition, APS maintains a working relationship with the US Federal Aviation Administration and would be available to assist or advise State Representatives in this area.
Our Services Include:
- Provide independent professional assessment of key issues arising through ICAO or IATA;
- Provide professional support in dealing with significant technical issues (Conferences, Panels, Working Groups, etc.) or for issues arising through the ICAO Council, Air Navigation Commission, Air Transport Bureau, etc.;
- Provide assistance in civil aviation matters that might involve relations with North American organisations;
