DESCRIPTION:
Our client requires the services of a Jr. Network Manager, to perform the following:

Perform configuration management of software and associated documentation according to directed standards.

Maintain authoritative repository, accept and integrate updates, publish change notifications, maintain database of users and software.
-
Apply updates and patches to software and perform regression testing.
-
Maintain test checklists and results documentation.
-
Maintain software licence control on behalf of the client. Distribute policy, collect user information, generate software keys, conduct periodic software audits.
-
Prepare software release notices for client approval. Maintain distribution lists and publish notices.
-
Provide technical support to local and remote users in software installation and troubleshooting.
-
Assist the Network Manager with routine maintenance and administration tasks of a software development support network.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates MUST MEET the following criteria in order to qualify for consideration:
-
Undergraduate degree or college diploma in an information technology field.
-
Minimum of four years demonstrated experience in network administration in Microsoft Windows and/or Linux environment.

Strong organizational skills.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
-
Experience with server virtualization is highly desirable.
-
Ability and willingness to travel to sites across Canada is highly desirable.
