DESCRIPTION:

ADGA, a premier supplier of resources to National Defence and other federal government departments, is in the process of conducting a proactive search for Procurement and Supply Resources to satisfy upcoming opportunities as follows:

a) Procurement Specialist (Junior and Senior)

Mandatory criteria for all Procurement Specialist positions includes:

• A secondary school diploma or recognized equivalent.

• Experience in financial management in one or more of the following environments: Repair & Overhaul; Operations & Maintenance; or Capital / Major Crown Project.

• Experience utilizing the Department of National Defence (DND) Financial Information System (FIS) in the National Inventory Control Point (NICP) in producing and analyzing financial documents.

• Experience with the Canadian Forces Supply System (CFSS).

• Experience with the DND FIS or FMAS Software Systems.

Additional Mandatory criteria for Senior Procurement Specialist:

• Successful completion of a project management course.

b) Procurement & Finance Specialist (Junior and Senior)

Mandatory criteria for all Procurement & Finance Specialist positions includes:

• Experience in financial management in one or more of the following environments: R&O or Operations Maintenance; or a Capital / Major Crown Project.

• Experience in the management of capital projects under the Defence Management System (DMS) valued in excess of $30M utilizing the DND FMAS or FIS.

• Experience in the preparation of business plans.

• Experience in the provision of cash forecasts.

• Experience utilizing the following programs: MS Word and MS Excel.

Additional Mandatory criteria for Senior Procurement & Finance Specialist:

• Successful completion of a DND course in accrual accounting.

• PMP certification.

c) Supply Specialist

Mandatory criteria for all Supply Specialists includes:

• Two years secondary school or recognized equivalent.

• Experience with DND supply, financial and technical procedures, including utilization of the Inventory Management Automated Process (IMAP) and the National Materiel Inventory Management System (NMIMS).

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a supply activity such as inventory control within the last seven (7) years.
